Question

I’m currently 18+2 with my first baby. When I was at the doctor last week, my nurse said baby was still low in my pelvis so she wasn’t surprised I hadn’t felt her move yet. However, today I noticed this slight pressure followed by a firmness toward the top of my uterus. Is it baby? My nurse said baby would feel like butterflies or gas pains— both of which I haven’t felt! Just a random bout of pressure and firmness where it’s usually squishy :) TIA!

To me, it feels like someone flicking me from the inside. Very short, sudden flicks. Butterflies were around 14 weeks, now at 19w2d they’re full blown kicks my husband can feel from the outside. 😍

I first felt him at 17w it felt like a muscle twitch. And surprisingly I could see him when he kicked, very subtle but could see it

I never got the whole butterfly feeling thing. I never understood it. If you have ever felt a muscle spasm before that’s what it feels like to me.

Pressure on my cervix and bladder. My placenta is anterior so it’s blocking the movement up higher and I’m mostly feeling baby dance on my bladder.

It feels like running something across the inside of your belly. Sometimes when it’s hard it’ll feel like numb/tingly movement.

With my first I felt kicks at 19w but it felt like someone slightly ran their finger across my tummy...on the inside lol it was so weird. 
With #2 I had at about 14w where i had a hard pressure like feeling. Like they did a summersault but in slow motion and stayed horizontal for a second then went back. 
I’m now 16w and possibly feeling faint butterflies every once in awhile but not 100% sure

with my first pregnancy i didn’t feel anything till about 18-20 weeks and they felt like butterflies. around 22-24 weeks i felt hard massive kicks on my bladder. with my current 2nd pregnancy i felt butterflies around 12/14 weeks. i’m now 18 weeks and i feel a good amount of movements. my baby loves to kick under my bellybutton or just move from side to side or she lays right on my bladder so i feel nothing but pressure on my bladder.
