Help! Swaddle Transition

Yall I feel defeated. I've been trying to transition baby boy from the swaddle. I used to use the swaddle me velcro ones then love to dream swaddle up 50/50 when I decided to start the transition. Everything was going great, he didn't even mind the one arm method but now I'm leaving both arms out and its been rough. I haven't slept to past couple days, he throws himselr around and wiggle so much until he wakes himself up and he starts crying. The only thing that keeps him asleep is having him next to me and I don't want to start co-sleeping.
