Natural birth or epidural?

What did everyone do? Epidural? Or natural? I’ve heard so many things about epidural leaving life long effects on you to the point where some people still have back pains. But then natural is soooo much pains! How was it for you guys?

Epidural for both of mine and will be doing it for #3, its a more relaxed no pain experience.. and it has never effected me after having it.

I did natural with all my pregnancies. I just didnt like the idea of a needle in my spine, not being able to move, or having a catheter. I LOVE my unmedicated births and yes it hurt but i wouldnt change a thing about my decision. I was actually pretty excited  when i was going into labor the 2nd time cause i knew what to do and how to handle the pain better.

Two kids so far. Epidural all the way. No effects at all and will get an epidural for this pregnancy as well. Its not that I don't think I can't take the pain. Just that I don't want to. The epidural was amazing.

Natural! And don’t listen to idiots who glorify pain. I’ve had a medicated nightmare of a birth because I didn’t listen to myself and because I believed the tripe I was fed all my life about how human women need help to birth their young and how badly it hurts... as soon as I shut down that shit and started focusing on my POWER - I had 2 home births unmedicated and beautiful. You will birth the way you believe. If you believe it will hurt it will likely be painful. If you believe you were born to do this and that you can handle anything you will. ❤️❤️❤️

Honestly it's so rare than an epidural actually does that to you. I got the periodical because fuck being miserable while giving birth to your child

I had an epidural with both of my boys and plan to with my 3rd if I can’t handle the pain. I don’t care if people think I’m a wimp, it literally helped so much, I was able to sleep through most of my labor. I don’t have any back pain whatsoever and the last time it only worked in half of my body (still better than nothing). No side effects for me but I think it just depends on your body and the anesthesiologists who performs it.
