Do you think it’s rude when people say they HATE kids?

2 ladies I work with say they HATE kids and they really emphasize on the word hate. Hate is a strong word. It’s okay if you dislike them and don’t want to have them but to hate them that’s pretty strong.

Not to me.  Yes, hate is a strong word but it is a legitimate feeling.  Coming from someone who has said it herself, usually it's their prior experiences with exceptionally bad children that cause someone to say something like that.  I know that's where mine's come from...

I generally love kids, but i have come across kids that I hate. Sadly it’s their parents fault for doing an awful job raising them. Then again there comes a point where a child deliberately acts out because they know that they’ll get away with it and I cannot stand those kids.

I don’t mind when people say that. What I do mind is when those people treat children or people with children badly because of it. Like people who get upset with kids talking at a restaurant, or my personal favorite, grown adults who go to children’s movies and then get mad at all the children there. 😂 My BIL is one of this people and I’m like, “this is literally how humanity exists”, if you don’t want or like kids, cool, go hid under a rock or something. ✌🏼

Kids are annoying, haven't you ever been somewhere with a little punk kid and think how much you hate them? I was not a fan of kids, especially babies before I had my son. Now I know and understand but if you dont have kids it's kinda hard to like them. I'm never offended when someone says that but I wouldn't let them watch my kid

I don’t have kids, but I don’t think it’s always meant in a rude way. 
Its not like they specifically hate your kids, it’s just children in general!
