Should grocery store dumpster remain locked?
In my area all of the grocery stores started double locking the produce dumpsters as well as the regular bins. Usually the food that gets put out is still “good” just past the selling date.
I can’t help but think about how much food goes to waste as well as the high number of homeless people that get their meals from there going hungry.
I brought this up on a whisper and had got some comments about how the stores do that because of liability. That if someone got sick from the dood they don’t want them to turn around and sue. I just wanted to get all your thoughts on this.
Should grocery store dumpsters remained locked?
Bonus;
If possible should stores allow a certain amount of time for the dumpsters to be unlocked?
