Yogurt okay at 6 months? What solids?

Question

Has anyone given their baby yogurt or asked pediatrician if it’s ok at 6 months?
What solids did you start with? We’ve tried oatmeal with breast milk, rice, and sweet potatoes. He likes oatmeal at first but now doesn’t.

My son loves rice and butternut squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, and banana sweet potato teethed bisects. He doesn’t care for plain bananas, or peas.

I went a little wild and listened to my mom. She said they didn’t worry about allergies or anything when starting my sister and I on solids. I literally started with sweet potatoes and butternut squash to teach him how to swallow solids. After that I went straight to mixed stage 2 pouches and jars 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have had no issues..I also give him little bites of what I’m eating to start blw

I did avocados, bananas, and oatmeal so far. We just started on solids. I don’t buy jarred baby food or pouches though. I’m making homemade purées and will eventually move on to BLW. I will be giving my son yogurt soon as well. I did so with my second daughter at 6 months and she loved it. I recommend the organic Stonyfield baby yogurt.

My daughter loves oatmeal, any sweet baby foods, most veggies, and meats mixed with fruits or veggies. Table food she’s had and likes are regular Cheeto puffs, eggs, sausage gravy, rolls from Texas Roadhouse and breadsticks from Olive Garden and mashed potatoes!
