Anyone else's baby favour one parent?

My little boy will literally never settle for his daddy and will scream and cry and as soon as he hands him to me he's fine, he will be happy to play with him and sit with him on the floor but when he's holding him it always seems like he wants to get away from him but with me he's fine and as much as I love it, it is also becoming rather annoying as i can't even get a minute to myself especially in the evenings/night time when he's tired, anyone else in the same boat?

My daughter was like this and still strongly prefers me to this day. My son can go between us and be happy.

My daughter prefers me. She is happy with anyone if I’m not around but if she hears me, she has to be attached to me.

I said equal because he goes through phases were he prefers Daddy and phases were he prefers me lol definitely see Daddy as more of play time though and Mommy as a comforter!

I find that when hubby is home our Bub is all smiles for him and I get hardly any (and it feels like all I’m good for are my boobs!), but when my husband is at work I get lots of smiles and attention!
On the converse, whenever my hubby changes the nappies or tries to get her dressed she’ll wriggle/roll over/cry, but if I show up she’ll lie still and is a perfect angel!
But on the odd occasion where she is really upset, she wants me ☺️ I guess it just depends on the situation really!

My little girl is all daddy soon he walks in the room she smiling at him then gets all frustrated and cries till he picks her up.. 😂 only time she wants me is for my boob or when she tired.. my oldest didn’t settle with my husband at all he always wanted me.. and my second son was the same till about 9months then he was all daddy.
