Enemas while pregnant ?

Does anyone know if it's okay to use ? 
I usually do it to clean out and feel good while I'm cleansing but I haven't done them while pregnant.

I would ask your doctor first. I was told to try one since I haven had a BM in a week and am in a lot of pain and discomfort. They recommended it as a last resort before I get seen tomorrow.

I had to use them several times with my last pregnancy and was told by my doctor as long as it was saline and not oil it was fine. You may want to check with your OB though.

With everything that I have been reading enemas are not safe. Try eating more fiber or a stool softener.
