Inositol?

Has anyone taken inositol? My fertility dr told me to take myo-inositol and chiro-inositol. My periods are extremely regular, but she said it will help with egg quality among other things. I’m worried, however, that it will mess up my regular cycle. Has that happened to anyone? If it did mess up your cycle, did it ever get regular again, or did you have to just stop taking it?
