First ultrasound

Baby was measuring like a week behind what we thought based on my last period, but I'm irregular so I'm not at all surprised. Thinking about doing that DNA blood test to tell us any chromosomal abnormalities as well as tell us the gender. Anybody have experience with these tests? I think it's a boy, husband thinks it's a girl.how accurate were they? Measuring about 8w3d
