How are you styling/managing your toddlers hair?

My daughters hair is about shoulder length in the back, then the top part grows forward and is just about to hit her eyebrows. I try to push it to the side but it won’t stay. I’m considering using gel or a gentle hair spray, as she often removes clips and bows after 20 minutes.

I’m curious what others are doing to manage unruly hair?

We usually do a little alligator style hair clip, we ordered a ton of these bows on amazon. At first she pulled them out immediately but she leaves them in most of the time. I think it’s a mix of getting used to them and also learning that having her hair in her eyes is annoying. We usually have to fix the clips several times a day because she has very fine, smooth hair so the clips slip out even if she doesn’t do anything to them, just because of that toddler life with her running around and smushing her head into stuff 😂If she’s in a cooperative mood we do pigtails or a half up ponytail. I CAN get it into a full ponytail but half of it ends up falling out anyway so half up is usually how we go.Excuse her gross face in the pigtail photo - she had a cold 😂These did not stay in long but they’re cute 😂

I should add the short parts that look like bangs are naturally like that, we haven’t cut her hair at all, but some is just shorter in the front so it kind of looks like deliberate bangs.

My child has a afro! Most days he wears it natural but sometimes I braid it! ☺️ his hair is almost to his butt when straight or wet!

Haha yes! My husband or mom has to sit in the floor with him and watch YouTube.. it’s a struggle about 1-2 hr process but we get it done 😂😂

We usually do a half up/half down style. Since her hair is such odd lengths it can’t all fit in a ponytail. We also trim her bangs since they fall out too. Or we do pigtails

I mostly pull my daughters hair back to the side in a pony because her hair naturally goes that direction. Sometimes I put her hair in piggies.
