Anyone have a successful VBAC?

Question

I had an emergency cesarean with my son three months ago. The Dr. Told me I have a 50-70% chance of having a vaginal birth with my next baby. It kills me that I didn't get the experience I wanted and Im really really hoping I will get that with my next baby one day. So has anyone had a successful VBAC?

I had a successful VBAC yesterday morning at 2:51 am and discharged 24 hours later.

I had a successfull VBAC in June of 2013. My first was a c-section baby as well and was told of all the risks and everything and it had been almost 4 years since my first and there was only a 1 percent chance of my scar coming open and I went into labor at home and was monitored at the hospital and everything went well. I am sure that you will be able to have your VBAC as long as you have a bikini cut scar. Good luck and God bless!

I had a successful VBAC earlier this month and it was the best experience of my life. I researched a lot and found a doctor that was knowledgable and supportive as well as honest with me about the risks and rewards. I gave birth in a hospital with an epi and my son was born healthy. I really didn't want another section no would say to do your research (birth balls, peanut balls, excercise, Lamaze etc.) and find a supportive medical team/provider but listen to your instincts. Had a successful vbac, no tearing February 2017. I gave birth in kind of a half squat position (one leg up one down). I was in labor four days, my water broke Thurs am and I had the baby Monday morning. Alot of deep slow breathing, pregnancy tea, water, dates, pregnancy exercises and a supportive husband helped me have the birth we wanted.

Look into vbac support groups, hypnobirthing, calm birthing classes.

I've had four VBACs in the last 5 1/2 years! My C-section was in February 2010. I had VBACs in September 2011, January 2014, January 2015, and February 2017.

I did with my second as my first was breeched i was so glad i had the option to do it as never had anything labour related with my daughter and it was amazing xx
