I was getting really tired of having to smile off the “when are you having kids question” so we started saying stuff like “oh believe me, we are trying!” And people just respond like “say no more” and don’t want to talk about it anymore.... like they weren’t the ones who just asked a freaking personal question..... then they usually follow it up with “oh don’t worry it will happen” and just kind of slink away.

I love how people totally don’t get infertility.
