So, a couple weeks ago, I was in the ER for really awful pain in my left side. It was unbearable for days and on day 3 my boyfriend finally convinced me to let him take me to the hospital.

While we waited for hours, I kept hearing the doctor talking about hcG levels and lab work. My boyfriend and I locked eyes and were convinced this doctor was going to come in and tell us we were pregnant.

Well, that didn't happen. Instead, she informed me that I have a solid mass on my left ovary and need to get into my OB for an ultrasound ASAP. She said that whatever it is will have to be removed, and will most likely take my entire ovary with it.

I was devastated. I saw my OB last week and he had to schedule the ultrasound for this Thursday. He didn't give me much insight; he actually said very little, which wasn't reassuring.

I need good vibes.
