Gripe water?

What is your experience with gripe water? Has it worked for you? What symptoms do you find it helps with? I have some at home and am thinking about trying it out

I have tried it a few times but wasn’t sure if it was what helped or not. I also just got gas drops to try.

Gripe water has been very helpful with helping my baby’s fussiness, but only for small periods of time

We’ve been having good luck with gripe water. Our 5 week old was having bad gas bubbles in his tummy that were keeping him (and us!) up for a couple days. The pediatrician suggested gripe water and said that it basically reduces the size of the gas bubbles, making them easier to pass. We could definitely tell a difference the one day we were traveling and didn’t bring the gripe water with us- he was in pain and fussy for the next two days, wanting to be held or raised at an angle to sleep. It’s worth a try if your pediatrician suggests it!

LOVE IT. It got us through for two weeks until we found out lo had a milk allergy! It’s great for us.

My LO gets hiccups all the time. Gripe water soothes them immediately. If I’m trying to treat gas though, I use Mylicon.

We’ve found that gripe water helps with general fussiness & hiccups. But for gas Mylicon gas drops are the best!
