Need to vent....

So I was talking to one of my co-workers (she doesn’t have children) and I was telling her how my SIL was due soon and hasn’t got a car seat yet and she asked why she didn’t keep the one from her son who will be 8. I told her the car seats expire and sometimes not safe to us after that amount of time do to changes. This time my SIL is having a girl so she is starting new. My co-worker actually said people are stupid for not buying everything gender neutral and just reusing it every time no matter how long it’s been sitting. I told her everything I have is pink so if I have another baby and it’s a boy I’m not going to use my girl stuff I’m going to buy new stuff. She told me I was dumb for buying all girl stuff because I can only use it if I have girls. I told her I’m not reusing my crib for another baby I’m buying a new one because the one I have now is a 3 in 1. She gave me this look like that’s a waste.

This is the same lady that told me it was ok to get drunk within hours of you having a baby and still nurse. 🤔
