EBF Baby not invited to a wedding at 10 months. Would you go without them?

Question

I’ve been invited to a wedding when my baby is 10 months old but can’t take my baby with me. It’s about an hour away from home and starts at 13:00 until around midnight. Any ideas how many breastfeeds he’ll be on by then? Would you leave your baby? I could leave him with a bottle or two of breast milk (though my boobs would probably explode!) but what would you do? Thank you

I personally wouldn’t go because I have zero interest in attending an event where my baby is not welcome, but that’s just me. 
If you WANT to go, you definitely should, and your baby will be fine. You’ll probably want to leave at least 3 bottles to be on the safe side. (At 10 months my oldest was nursing when he woke up, before each nap, before bed, and usually again around 11pm) and you will definitely want to pump at the wedding, around the same times your baby would nurse.

Maybe I’m a bad mom, but I left for a girls weekend for 3 days when my son was not quite 5 months 🤷‍♀️. I pumped like a mad woman to make sure there was more than enough milk and then just pumped at the same times I would’ve been feeding him. Definitely had mom guilt initially, but it was so nice to escape for a while and spend time with good friends.

I’d go and have fun! I’ve been to enough weddings to understand why some people choose child free.  As long as you have enough for baby to eat while you’re gone I’d just go and enjoy

I recently attended a wedding where I left my baby at home with family.  I left a few bottles and brought my pump with me. Right after dinner was complete and dancing started I  slipped out to my car and pumped. I also brought a small cooler to keep the milk cold.  You should go and have a night of fun 😊

Just because its kid free does not mean they dont like your kid dont take it personal weddings are loud and busy and babies cry during ceremonies  or babble and kids run around  I wish I made my wedding kid free

I would leave pumped milk and go moms need breaks too and I'd love to dance and drink a little and have a night out with husband or friends! Baby will be fine and loved on my the babysitter  
Unless my baby does not take bottles then I'd decline but it's easy for me because I work 12 hours 3 days a week so baby is used to being at sitters

I have pumped at weddings! It’s nice to get away! By then baby will be eating lots of solids. He will probably need 2-3 bottles between 1 and midnight. Enjoy it.

Who voted no? 🙄🙄 I went to a wedding when baby was 2 months and she was fine! It felt so nice to be an adult again 😭 you deserve it!
