Hey I’m a FTM and I’m 35 weeks. Is it possible to have nipple thrush without ever nursing before. My nipples aren’t red or anything but they bed these hardish spot around the nipple that feel like zits and when I’m in the shower I’ve been able to massage white stuff out of these spots on the areola. It’s usually hard stuff that comes out of these hard, zit-like spots. Any ideas what it could be?

I’ve had this for year but now that I’m preparing to breastfeed I’m wanting to take any proper precautions. I see my OB Thursday so I’m going to ask then but its embarrassing so I thought I’d ask here first.
