What kind of clothes should I be buying for my summer baby

So far I’ve only gotten her one sleeper but it has the footies in it. Is that going to be too hot for summer? I plan on doing a little shopping for more clothes for her soon before she arrives but I’m not sure what I should focus more on getting. Our summers are fairly hot and your house turns into a sauna. Would it be a waste to buy more than a few sleepers? Should I be focusing more on little dresses? How about sleepers without the feet in them? My son was a winter baby so he was always in warm sleepers. This time I have no idea what I should be getting
