Pooping up the front of the diaper?!

This is a new one. My 13 weeker has done this twice today. Rather than exploding up the back it has gone all in the front of the diaper, out the top around his belly button. How the heck does he do it?! He was on his tummy this last time so maybe that had something to do with it. Does anyone else's baby do this? This was in Pampers, which we've been using for a while. He's in a size 1, which still fits fine.

Oh yea mi w does this all the time. His favorite time to do it is when I just changed a wet diaper and he’s all clean. This one wasn’t to his belly button but it was all around the front and back lol

My daughter has poops like this if she poops in a sitting position, like car seat or bouncy seat. I hate it because i have to clean all her crevices haha.

Yes it has happened to us a few times. I think it just happens when the diaper is too wet before the poop happens...usually it’s a huge poop!
