Stretch marks?!

Just wondering for first time mommas when did y’all start seeing stretch marks? I’m a little over 33 weeks today and still haven’t seen any . ( knock on wood) but am pretty sure I’ll end up getting them since all my sisters did. Just don’t know when. When did you ladies notice yours? And how did you prevent/heal them after pregnancy

My grandma never got any, my mom didnt get any until 2 weeks before she gave birth to her first baby. I am 31 weeks pregnant and already had them on my hips a little bit not noticeable at all and they still haven’t spread.... yet & ive gained 30 lbs so far. So I’m thinking more towards the end when you are your biggest is when you get them. I lather on bio oil twice a day, and drink 90 oz of water a day (I’m convinced it works from the inside out). Sucks having them be genetic 😭

I caked on the cocoa butter lotion and didn’t get any with my last pregnancy. This one I don’t have any yet.

I didn’t see any until after I gave birth. Some on my sides and two on my vag! There’s nothing you can do to prevent them. I used body butter and bio oil during my first pregnancy (and current pregnancy). I think vitamin e oil is supposed to lighten them some. Just embrace your tiger stripes!

I have 2 new ones that are on my side. I’ve always had stretch marks (runs in my family) but once I lose weight they turn white and shrink so I’m not too worried.

You can't prevent stretch marks, no matter what oils or creams you use. They're 100% genetic, so if your mom has them you probably will too. They so fade after pregnancy, most of the time. If you haven't seen any by now you may not have them, mine started developing around 20 weeks.
