Sex after vasectomy

My husband had one about 2 maybe 3 months ago, between his recovery, my lack of sex drive during pregnancy, natural life with kids and jobs, and then my emergency C-section recovery- we haven’t had sex aka clean out his tubes as they say, so could he still have active sperm?
