Baby Position

Can anyone tell what position their baby is in...??? I feel so much movement all the time and try to figure out her position like if it was a punch or a kick haha. Last time I went to my doc 2 weeks ago I was compiling about how painful my sides were and she did a quick scan and it was because she was basically laying in my hips like a hammock head buried in my right legs to the left. I can tell she’s not in that position anymore but just curious can anyone tell or does only the doctor know if they are head down or breach
