The Dog Days Are Over

Last night I started my second miscarriage this year (I was expecting it...we found out at our appointment last week that baby had stopped growing and there was no heartbeat).

This morning, Florence + the Machine’s “Dog Days Are Over” came on the radio on my way to work. I started to tear up and cry and couldn’t really put my finger on why.

I finally realized the song and crying were my catharsis. I am hoping this miscarriage will be the last of my “dog days.”
