Wipe warmer? Cloth wipes?

Question

Anyone use a wipe warmer with cloth wipes or not with cloth wipes? I’m trying to figure out if it’s necessary in general. Any brand suggestions or just skip it?

I use a Warner with cloth wipes. We go through them enough that they don’t get gross and I make a wipe solution that I add to the warmer. It works great!

Something I noticed with my first is that if you store cloth wipes wet they tend to get moldy pretty quickly, like within just a day or two depending on your weather and humidity. Storing them in a warmer would expedite the process and make them really gross. I’ve never used a warmer and don’t really see the need, we’ve never had issues. I could see more issues if they are used to warm wipes at home and then you go out somewhere and they are cold than if they are just used to room temp wipes all the time.

I have a cloth wipes warmer but I plan to do both cloth wipes and disposables. Cloth wipes will be primarily for night time/around the house.

We used regular wipes, not cloth, but I would definitely recommend it. It wasn't something I would've bought on my own but I was gifted one so I tried it out and regardless of when your baby is born the disposable wipes are cool so  it was a LIFESAVER for changes in the middle of the night. The cool from the wipes always fully woke my little guy up vs. when we use the warmer wipes it wasn't so jarring so it was easier to put him back to sleep.

I have the prince lion heart warmers warmer, the cheap gerber flannel wipes from Walmart, and we use Lusa Organics wipe juice. I pour a 3rd the bottle in a gallon of distilled water and keep it in my daughters closet!

I got my stuff pre loved and they gave me wipes in a warmer. I don’t use it I just keep the wipes in there cuz then I don’t need to buy a plastic container for my cloth wipes 🤷‍♀️

I use a spray bottle with water, witch hazel, and diaper lotion potion in it with my cloth wipes. It kicked some serious diaper rash at two weeks old and we haven't had any more rash - fifteen weeks old now :)

We used a spray bottle for the first year. And then we got a wipes warmer, mostly for baby’s comfort (she was getting real wiggly and irritable during diaper changes) and also the poop was getting harder to clean off as she got older. We use the Prince Lionheart Warmies wipes warmer. It’s AMAZING. We love it. I’m shocked that we love it so much, because I would’ve told myself not too long ago that it is a waste of money and completely unnecessary. Wouldn’t go back. We just wet the wipes, roll them up, and put them in. I make sure not to refill it until it’s completely empty so that there are no wipes sitting there for a very long time. We cloth diaper full time, so we easily use all of the wipes in the warmer in one day. It’s easy to use. Nice for baby. Nice for us. Just an all around win. Also, we noticed baby (who has extraordinarily sensitive skin) has less redness on poopy days since getting the wipes warmer. We think it’s a gentler process. So, yes, you can totally do without it. But for $25 I wish I would’ve just used it from day 1.
