Spotting off birth control

So I spotted light pink the 16, 17, 18 then bled heavily the 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, then I started spotting light pink again 26, 27, 28 and the light pink spotting continues! Is this normal?? I stopped taking birth control in January. I used to spot frequently and my OB always said it was because I was on birth control and that spotting was always a dark brown (old blood). I’ve just never experienced light pink spotting like this before. I continue to have bad headaches which I usually get on period and some light cramping.. what do you guys think? I have an appointment with the OB next month.
