I've tracked my cycle for 3 years it's 21 days apart and I bleed for 4 days.. my period is 11 days late and I'm very regular.. my boobs are sore, I have constipation, highly emotional and I've had very lucid dreams! I had a blood test done 2 days ago it was negative and I've had hpt negative as well.. but I'm still late with symptoms could the HCG just be taking a long time to build up? any hope?

Hi there, a 21 day cycle is short , does that include you first 4 days of menstruation, if so , and you are trying to get pregnant. I would chart this on paper and talk about it with ypur ob/gyn because a cycle so short often doesn't have the time for the egg to burry itself in the uterus.

A negative blood hcg two days ago would mean no your not pregnant. The do a quantitative test so they'd know if you had ANY hcg. At the time you would have been 9 days late and if you were pregnant there would be some level of hcg present. To still be pregnant it would have to be a super irregular cycle for you. It's more likely you just didn't ovulate this cycle.
