Cervix checking??

Question

When did your OBs start checking your cervix? I was told at my 34 week check up that I had to ask for them to check. So tomorrow when I go in I'm gonna ask them too cause they are already doing the bstrep testing but I feel like my body is rejecting my baby and that's why I still have these hives 😞 my SO sister said something about my cervix having something to do with the hives and I'm just freaking out 😩

I asked my doctor when she typically starts checking at she said 39 weeks.. I asked if she could check me at 37 weeks because I was having consistent contractions before my appt and she basically refused 😒

I got checked at my 35 week appointment since I had gotten checked at the hospital due to cramps, so they checked me Thursday. Since she was already doing the GBS, she went ahead and did it. But they were going to wait till 36 weeks to check originally before I had went to the hospital.

I have my 36w appt this week and I'll be checked for GBS so I assume she'll check my cervix as well. After that, I'll request no further checks until 39w when I plan to ask for a sweep.

My dr started asking if I wanted to a 35 weeks but didn’t start checking until 37 weeks.

36 weeks is when they started checking. I’ve had hives on and off throughout and my doctor isn’t concerned. I would ask them but trust their opinion

I had mine checked today at 35 weeks since she was doing the GBS test. 
But my baby is sideways and there is nothing pushing on my cervix so I’m on 1cm and this is my second pregnancy so that’s normal.
