5 weeks pregnant but nothing in uterus?

I had an ultra sound today and my doctor said there isnt anything there and thinks i may miscarry soon or that im earlier than 8 weeks. Im confused and angry amd dont know what to do. I have another app. in 2 weeks to check. Has anyone had this issue before?

At 5 weeks you will not see a baby but there should be a gestational sac visible. Unfortunately the only thing you can do is wait and see what happens

when was your LMP?? that’s why doctors don’t usually do ultrasounds until 6-8weeks. but i’m pretty sure there should at least be a visible sac by 5 weeks?? i may be wrong

I hate when doctors say things like that. At that week your baby is so small it's likely to not be seen yet..

I did have this happen, and it turned out negative for me. But! I do know that I was a bit further along. This early it’s still in the air. It could be fine!
