Did anyone experience light spotting during pregnancy??

Question

Please share your experience with me as this is new to me. I am 14 weeks pregnant  n experience light spotting today. I call my doctor n she said it's normal n I should monitor it n if its flowing then go in. Please tell me if this happen to u as well? Should I be concern?

I had light spotting twice in my first trimester and once in my second. It was never pink/red but a light/ mucous brown. After the second time at 10 weeks I went in for an ultrasound and all was good! When it happened a 3rd time, I went in to the dr again. 
It turned out that I had a yeast infection. I was put on antibiotics because I was close to a UTI. Pretty sure that caused the yeast infection. I was so thankful it was nothing more! After treating it, I did not have any more spotting 😊 I’m now 34 weeks pregnant 🤰
