i rlly want to swim with my friends and my period came but i’ve never used a tampon

None of those? Read the directions on the box and try it out. They’re a little tricky at first but they’re really ok. Nothing to worry about. I haven’t worn a pad in like 9 years.

Tampons are great. Just choose them according to how heavy your flow is so you don’t risk leaks.

I would say don’t knock it till you try it. 
But I will also say to chnage your tampon after getting out of the pool because the tampon can suck up the pool water like in bath water and can cause issues.... don’t be terrified of this fact though as long as you aren’t lazy and chnage it once your done swimming you’ll be fine babe!
