Hot to get a baby to take a pacifier?!

My 4 months old won’t take a pacifier, my nipples are so sore. I have the soothie one.

You have to try different ones and see what they like. Some babies never take them.

My little girl never really been interested in her dummies she hated the avent soothie ones. We tried a few and the only one she actually like is the cherry teat style dummies (Tommie tippee) shes 6months and only now she actually will keep it in her mouth while getting herself to sleep. Before she would have a few sucks and spit it out.

We had to try several different kinds before my daughter took one. She ONLY took the mam ones. 
And then my oldest, my son.. he would not take one at all.

Put a little breastmilk on the end of it so she’ll take it in her mouth then Maybe she’ll see it’s not so bad?
