What would you do?

So I already know this problem might sound petty and dumb, but to me it’s a real issue.

I’ve been at my current job (retail) for almost 9 months and have LOVED it! I was at a different retail job before this one for over a year and hated it. But this one has been amazing! Friendly customers and coworkers! And the shifts are PERFECT for college and high school students (I’m a college student). So anyways, it’s been lovely.

Until now. The store I work out is a chain store but it’s also independently owned. So it’s not completely corporate. Well, our owner is retiring and she could either close the doors or find someone to buy our store and become a new owner. She found someone which is great I guess. But there’s already issues such as the new owner’s wife and daughter will both be working here and will have weekends off and just whenever they want off they will get it. Also, the wife isn’t exactly the nicest of people and it just makes it harder with her being the owner’s wife.

Secondly, almost everyone is quitting because they don’t like the new manager. She’s the type of person that will also have whatever day she wants off and is a very rude know-it-all. Even some customers don’t like her. Also, HER daughter will be working over the summer here and has already put in that she can’t work weekends.

Where does this leave me?? Working EVERY Saturday and Sunday. I am beyond pissed. They brought in a new girl but for whatever reason, she can only work Monday-Thursday.

I haven’t figured out if this is only for the summer or if it applies to during the school year too (most of the girls that have a restricted schedule are in college).

If it’s during the school year I don’t think I can put up with it. I have classes 5 days a week (not by choice, my classes were only offered at one time instead of multiple offerings for them). Plus I’ll be working the whole weekend, which means not true day off. Which I feel is INSANE!

I know, it probably seems super petty, but I am pissed. And I just need to know, does it sound like I need to find a new job? Would you? Or should I wait it out and see what happens?
