Nexplanon and vitamins?

This is my second time getting the nexplanon in my arm. my first time was done by a regular OB but this second time I’ve recently lost health insurance so I went to the health department. They have me daily vitamins and I suck at taking pills. So I guess my question is why would they give me these now and not my 1st time? Are they important? Do I need to take them? They were just in a “goody bag” for me when I left it also had condoms and pamphlets
