I will be calling doctor about this but wondering if anyone else has experienced it

So I have hypertension (not pre-e, have been tested several times now) and gestational diabetes.

Anyway, I was leaving the store earlier and got in my car and went to read a text and realized I couldn’t see my phone. Like I could see it but I couldn’t read it, couldn’t really focus on it.

I have a pretty bad astigmatism and usually wear contacts and sometimes when I wear my glasses I can’t really read those digital billboards because my eyes won’t focus on them, other than that I see totally fine.

Anyway, I put my phone down thinking it’s something to do with that and leave but I notice I can’t focus on the road. I felt drunk and I couldn’t read any street signs and the I was almost seeing double. I pulled over and realized I didn’t have any peripheral vision and things were still pretty blurry. It took about 30 minutes before I was feeling normal again. I didn’t get home for another 2 hours and by that time my BP was 130/95 which is why I was diagnosed with hypertension and my doctors aren’t overly concerned with this number because my labs keep coming back normal.

I feel mostly fine now. I’ve called my doctor and am waiting for the on call nurse to cal back. I’m not really looking for someone to tell me what59 do, just wondering if anyone else had experienced this and what the outcome was...
