Not sure what to do?!

So I take birth control that causes me to not have any periods for every six months recommenced by my doctor. Anytime that I would want to have a period I would stop taking my pills for a week and about in the third missed day I would begin to start. I had sex with my boyfriend about 5 weeks ago unprotected (pull out so it’s not that preventative). I stopped my pills nearly three weeks ago and still have not had a period not even a drop of spotting. I took a test after 2 weeks of having unprotected sex and it looked negative. Should I detest again?!?! I’m not sure what to think or do for this situation.....
