Highlights in first trimester?

Ive just found out that i am about 5 weeks pregnant. I have a hairdressers appointment tomorrow for highlights- should I cancel or is it safe???
Im also going on holiday next month, but couldnt get my first appointment until the day before... am i ok to fly??

I’m 12w and have been on 7 flights since finding out. You’re definitely ok to fly! Just stay hydrated

Definitely ok to fly. 
Should be ok for your hair. Just make sure the fumes aren’t bad from the hair color. I’ve read it best to avoid hair coloring in the first trimester, but if the hair color doesn’t touch your scalp, it should be fine.

You’re probably going to be fine. Ask the hairdresser to set up a fan or open a window so the odors from the dye don’t get too heavily clouded around you.
