Constipated after c-section normal?

Question

I had my baby on Monday via c-section, and have had gas which is normal but haven't 'gone' to the bathroom. Anyone  else experience this? I'm a little  nervous to go considering the surgery and how tender everything is.

I went to the bathroom like 5 days after and it was fine. My stomach was tender so I could feel the pulling near my incision but it wasn’t bad.

I also had my first and last c-section with baby nr3 about 10 days ago and only did nr 2 after 6 days. I was so happy however painful and tender it was.

Drink a lot of water and stool softener. I had my csection on Sunday 26 & didn’t have a bowel movement until yesterday Thursday the 30th. It’s normal after a csection, but once it comes you get cramps & it hurts but you feel so relieved! Lol

I had a c section a week ago this past Monday and it took me 4 days. I was anxious but able to once I got home. The stool softeners are key.

I've been drinking plenty of water bc breastfeeding drains you so I'll wait another day and see how it goes. Coughing hurts so I'd rather take the time and wait a little longer

I had a c section too. I was taking 2 still softener per day. It worked good for me. I was able to go to the bathroom 2 times a day with no problem.

Take stool softener and drink prune juice.
