Baby shower rant 😩

Ughh...baby shower tomorrow and our starting list of 25 people is now about 12 after tons of last minute cancels. Trying to be positive and not be offended but I’m just upset! I’m thinking it’s going to be awkward with such a small group and I feel better bad for my step mom that is bringing a lot more food than necessary now. Anyone else been in a similar situation but ended up having a good time?
