Whole milk / goats milk?

Question

My boy is 11 months old! How did that happen?!??
I have been told that I can start him on an ounce of goats milk (that’s what we plan to switch him to when he is one) per-day at 11 months to help aid the transition to milk at 1 year. Any mommas is planning to do this?! I’m undecided 🤷‍♀️ 
Maybe I am in denial that he will go off formula in four weeks! We are still nursing at nap and bedtime.

I’m doing it, I’m adding an ounce a week until she’s at a full bottle at 12 Months (per my pediatrician) I’ve done it with my two other children as well.

I am! I’ll probably start though right around a year old. My girl is EFF now, but I definitely plan to either try goats milk, or only do organic Vitamin D. I don’t do dairy, and neither does my hubby really, but I know the pediatricians recommend milk(cow or goat), or soy for the fat content; and I’m not doing soy. The good news is that she doesn’t have any issues with dairy since it’s in her formula though!
