Biting baby?

I'm afraid I already have biter. When she is feeling goofy she will bite me playfully and laugh. I try not to encourage it by pulling her away and saying no. Does anyone have any other ways to discourage it? She will be out of daycare for two months but I'm worried about when she goes back

Act, very dramatically, that you’re hurt every time she bites you. When I screamed “ouch,” when my daughter bit me once it had hurt her feelings so badly that she cried. But she never did bite me again after that so it obviously worked ❤️

The alternative is to “ignore” the biting. And say something like ouch those kisses hurt and then show baby that “kisses” are supposed to be gentle. So instead of biting they will kiss and not hvethe bad biting be reinforced by drama and excitement of “ow ow ouch! No no!”

Totally agree with the dramatic reaction!  We have a hitting problem. When just say no no we don’t hit she laughs at us. We have to get pretty dramatic and even act like we’re crying and she reacts completely different.

It happened once. I acted like it hurt me very badly saying ouch, pretended to cry and walked away from her. She got pretty upset but it has not happened since.
