Take more precaution?

Hey ladies just a quick Q...
So my man and I had sex last night, I’m on birth control, we didn’t use a condom, but he came basically on the “outskirts” of my vagina, not necessarily on it. I wasn’t too happy about that whatsoever. My main question here is should I worry about becoming pregnant? I’m not the best at remembering to take my pill at the exact same time everyday and I absolutely do not want kids at any point in my life so I’m just wondering if there is anything to worry about. Thanks!
**May I also add my period just ended about a day or two ago as well

You should be fine as long add your on bc and have been for awhile. I was told by my ob/gyn that it can stay in your system for as long as a month if you ever stop taking it. If you just ended your period that means you haven't ovulated either.

I’m not trying to be a dick here but anytime you have unprotected sex you are putting yourself as risk of pregnancy. Pre cum CAN contain sperm and it CAN cause pregnancy, even if the chance is not massive (there is a documented rate of around 30%) Even on birth control, and you said yourself you aren’t great at taking it properly which makes the risk even higher. If you are really against having kids, consider the implant or an IUD so you don’t have to remember to take anything. And just use condoms.
