When is your doctor inducing you?

I’m 40+1 and am going to set an induction date tomorrow. I’m just curious, for those that don’t have a medical reason to be induced, when is the earliest your doctor will induce you if you don’t go into labor? I’m scared my doctor will make me wait until I’m 41 weeks since I’m only 1 cm but I’m hopeful she’ll let me set it for sometime next week.

Without a medical reason, the earliest my doctor will induce me would be 41 weeks, or even up to 42 if baby is doing well otherwise and they’re really busy.

I’m going in tonight! I’m 39+3 and that is the earliest my doctor would do. She said she was okay with it since I’m already dilated and effaced some. Otherwise, she likes to hold off as inductions can be more difficult.

My office has multiple doctors. One said between 40 and 41, one said by 40. I go in Tuesday at 39+3. We’ll see what this 3rd doctor says.

My Dr is talking about 41 weeks to almost 42 weeks. I said I'm not a fan of or really wanting any meds so he wants to give my body all the time it needs but that makes me anxious thinking about being pregnant for that much longer.

39 weeks. I’m getting induced so my parents (who live 5 hours away) will be here to watch our 15 month old daughter. I wish I could be induced tomorrow at 38 weeks 😭😭😭😭

I’m 40 weeks and tomorrow I have my last appointment. Doctor told me we would schedule our induction tomorrow. This happened with my son, too. They scheduled the induction for 41 weeks. My hospital won’t let you go past 42.
