How did you guys know you were in love? I keep on wanting to say it to my boyfriend (we’ve been together for almost 8 months I’m 22, he’s 23) because that’s how I really feel! But I’ve never been in love before so I’m not sure how love feels anyway. How do I know that I don’t JUST really like him? How did you guys know you were in love?

I think if you're questioning it, then you maybe don't.
My boyfriend told me he loved me three weeks after we met, and I said it back. I absolutely knew it to be true. It felt so right to say it.

There is a big stigma between saying "I love you" to someone. However, I feel that if the moment is right and you both are feeling something then you should not wait to say it. I don't feel that time should define the quality of a relationship. Just take it at your own pace and say what you feel, or don't. You should know best in your relationship!
My boyfriend and I said I love you to each other not even a month into our relationship. We agreed that things were going fast, but we did not feel like waiting was appropriate if we were going to hold back.

My bf and I said it about after three months, for me it’s just like I knew that I loved him. I guess it’s different for everyone. I knew I loved him after he made an photo album on his phone of pictures of me eating quesadillas lolol. It’s really weird and different for everyone. Love is a feeling and love is actions and love is love. If you’re questioning if you love him maybe you don’t. You can always just put it on the back of your mind and just try not to think of it as much and enjoy what you guys have idk 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don’t think there’s any magic thing that happens.. but when you know, you know. There’s no doubt that you love that person, no matter what.
I thought I loved my ex, but we fought, put each other down, and things didn’t always “click” with us.. but we stayed together for 8 years because we thought we were in love. We threatened each other with ending things all the time.. that’s how I realized that we didn’t actually love each other, we were simply content in our relationship.
Now, with my husband.. I know we’re in love. I loved him before we were even dating (we were bffs before). I saw him through his good times and bad, and he saw me though mine. Regardless of what was going on in our lives, we were each other’s safe place. Now that we’re married and facing some big issues, we still always have each other’s backs.. it’s us against the world, no matter what.
