Getting IUD before period returns postpartum
I am getting Paragard this Wednesday and I am 10 weeks postpartum. I am breastfeeding and haven't gotten my period back yet. Ive heard that Paragard can make periods worse etc but how is it if you get it before your period has returned? Is it just a lot of cramping or spotting or what is it like in general? New to the IUD! Thanks!
