When is the right time to put up baby crib?

I know some people wait and others don't.. Is there a right time for putting your crib up and stroller and others things together?

As soon as we get all moved in our new house and his room gets painted his crib will go up as well as his decor and car seat and stroller and stuff will all get taken out of the boxes! Ill be 23 weeks on saturday and we should be moved in and painted by the time I'm 26-27 weeks. I'm so excited I can hardly wait!!

Maybe right after we have our baby shower. Baby will be sharing a room with us so we're trying to keep our space as long as we can. Right now all I have is the crib and changing table. As much as I wanna get things ready there's really no point. 26 weeks today

Around 6-7 months is usually when I do it. I'm repairing ours this time so whenever I get that done. Definitely within the next month (I'm 22 weeks now)

We will be moving when he is about 2 months old and I'll be using a bassinet in our room for the first few months so crib won't be put up until after we move

I would do it as soon as possible. There are a lot of toxic chemicals in these products and when you take them out of the box they off-gas dot weeks or months. I wouldn't want my baby to come in contact with that so I'd let stuff air out asap.

I think any time is good as long as you are 100 percent sure you love what you got and don't want to return it.  It is nice to have it done before you feel big and tired!

It's whatever you are comfortable with. I wanted to help my husband so we did it around 20 weeks. :)

With my first I put it up around 35 weeks, that was when it came in (ordered online) and the first time I had enough umph to do it (single mom that round). I'm hoping we'll get our new crib before 30weeks but we don't move into our house until next weekend 🙏
