Baby in their own room?

Question

How many of our March babies are in their own rooms? I just started tonight, my 10 wk old sleeps all night for about 3 weeks and I go back to work next week. So I thought ehh why not try. Well I got grief from SO even tho he works 3rd shift and isn’t even home to put baby to bed or even sleep with us. Would this deter you?

We don’t put babies in their own rooms until they’re much older. It’s just not our parenting style. You and your dh need to really discuss it and decide what works for you both so you’re both comfortable with how you’re choosing to parent.

My baby has been sleeping in her own room since she was 3 weeks old 🙈 She’s a noisy sleeper, and I was taking her into the nursery to feed at night, swaddling her in her crib, letting her fall asleep, and then moving her into the bassinet in our room. It was stupid. I set up the monitor, moved her into the nursery, and haven’t looked back 🙌🏼 
To be fair, she’s a great sleeper, so it’s not like I’m waking up every two hours to feed her (knock on wood). I’d say go for it! My husband was nervous at first, but he trusts my judgment and now he’s used to it.

My baby has been in his own room since 4 days! We all sleep so much better, he started sleeping 5-7 hour stretches at 2 weeks 😃
Now he’s 8 weeks and sleeps 6-8 hours, gets up to nurse for half an hour and goes back for another 4-5 hours, it’s amazing!
The key is to swaddle, in his room with white noise sound machine. He’s been going to sleep on his own the last 3 weeks too, it’s amazing! I put him in bed drowsy, he fusses for 1-3 minutes and then passes out!
I would definitely recommend putting your child in their room when you are ready, it’s been great for my sanity and my relationship with hubby 😀

Our daughter has been in her own room and crib since we came home, her bedroom is right across the hall. We have a baby sense detector under the mattress. Husband did not get any leave and she squeaks a lot 😂.

Thanks everyone for your advice- she usually goes to sleep and stays asleep very welll in bassinet well tonight i did normal bath swaddle bottle she slept from 8-3 which is way shorter than she has been , in her own room. I fed her and caved now she’s fussing in her bassinet 🙄 
I have a video monitor and her room is across from mine I can literally see her crib from my bed . I just couldn’t sleep cuz my SO was texting me from work saying all these reasons why I shouldn’t move her yet—— mind you this is my second kid but his first and he’s such a worrier it drives me crazy

My son usually sleeps half the night in his crib in his room and the second half in the pack n play on our room lol we’ve been doing this for 2 weeks

At one month old she went into her own room, my son (first born) was also at a month old.

Dd1 slept through the night starting at 7 weeks but didnt put her into her room till after 1 year. Dd2 has yet to sleep through the night at 12 weeks but still planning 1 year till she joins her sister.
