When does O happen after positive OPK?

Question

So I’ve had positive opk’s for the past 3 days. It’s continuously getting darker. So when will O happen? It says ‘12-36 hrs after positive opk’ but do I go by the first day it was positive or do I go by the last day it’s positive? 
Not sure if that makes sense..I’m new here 😂

If it keeps getting darker, go off your last dark one!
