What to pack for mine & the baby’s hospital bag ?

Sooo I’m a FTM and I have somewhat of a slight idea on what to pack for the hospital bags but then again I’m not too sure!

This is my third.. you’re not in the hospital that long and for me, I don’t want to bring any hospital germs home, so the least amount of shared items the better. I wore hospital socks, hospital gown and hospital mesh undies. Only a pair of clothes for going home. I never dressed my babies in clothes in the hospital, just swaddled. One outfit for baby going home. Bring a bath towel. I bought a decent one at target for $4 that I could throw away there. Hospital towels are just like big bar mop rags. Horrible. Snacks.. the hunger is real when you are breastfeeding. I brought a bag of peanut butter pretzels and my fav candy. A phone charger (but you’re not on it that much). Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrush and paste). The first shower after birth with quite possibly be the best shower of your life. That’s all you need! If your stay gets extended for whatever reason your husband/friends/family can bring you what you need.

Anything you’re desperate to eat post birth. Aka deli meats, blue cheese, sushi, etc.
