I’m so insecure 😔 help plz

My bf leaves for basic today. There were SO many people, especially girls dm’ing him telling him good luck and suddenly a bunch of follow requests. He’s liked me since middle school & we started dating Junior year. Now we’re both going to A&M, he starts spring semester I start Fall. I’m afraid that he’s going to come back with a different mindset or like someone else. Idk.. I no longer feel pretty enough /: has anyone been in a similar situation?

He tries to reassure me but at the end of the day, words are just words..
